How to configure more than one exchange account in Microsoft Outlook:
Here is the easiest way, which will enable you to configure different exchange servers, without creating different profiles and accessing both at a time in outlook:
This approach is best useful in Corporate whenever you are at client location and want to access both your employer e-mail account and Customer email account.
It's Very Simple… create an IMAP or POP3 account (provided, they are enabled on Exchange server), instead of selecting exchange account though you are going to setup an exchange account.
Below is the Method explained as an example of Creating IMAP(If IMAP is not enabled then check & go for POP3) account and here are few friendly points which tells you how to do that which are easy to follow..
1.Open Outlook-->Go to Tools-->Account Settings
2.Click New
3.Leave the default selection and click next (i.e. Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP)
4.Check the "Manually configure settings or additional server types"
5.Crucial section…Leave the default selection (Internet E-mail) and click next.
6.Now fill the simple form and click more settings to enter domain credentials (i.e. IMAP & Incoming & outgoing server settings).
Be sure to check the option "Require logon using SPA" -- This enables you to use your domain credentials while sending mails from this configured account.
7. Click on "More Settings".
8.On the outgoing server tab, enter domain settings
9.Be sure to check this under folders section (choose an existing folders section.......), so that one mail box's sent items save in other
10. Once you are done you can try Test Account settings in Internet E-mail settings which gives you the confidence that it’s gonna work!
11. 'Now, whenever you send the mail, you have the option like Account 1, Account 2.... how cool is that?!
12. You can see your mail boxes on your left menu.
** Note: 1. Above setup is done for Outlook 2007, similar approach can be useful for Outlook 2003.
2. Above explanation is similar to the post "Make Outlook as a single Platform for Your all Mails:" but this is having different Exchange Servers (like IMAP & POP3) in one outlook.
